I love to talk with people who are passionate about what they do.
Passionate people see things different. They see possibilities that most of us miss and imagine a better and different future.
These Small Conversations are based around the idea that while the individual applies their own gifts and abilities to driving their vision, they need and benefit from the gifts and abilities of others and there is something unique about place and time. Great ideas cannot be directly copied and applied elsewhere, but they can stimulate us to see things different and develop and enhance our own visions and dreams.
“I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.” Acts 2:17
Brian Spencer interviews Rev Gi Won Kang about his passions and vision for ministry at Mooroopna Uniting Church. Gi Won talks about the cross cultural issues, shared vision, discerning the Holy Spirit and empowerment.
Brian Spencer interviews Rev Kate Fraser about her role as Presbytery Minister for Mission and Education and her passion for building relationships. Rather than seeing the Presbytery as an organisation Kate sees it as a vehicle for building and strengthening the relationships of faith. It is when these relationships across the churches are strong and healthy that mission is effective.
